Geovision Accessories for PTZ and Alarm
Geovision Accessories for PTZ and Alarm is a set of three units: GV-net, GV I/0 and GV Relay. You can also use wall mounted "Digital i/o". The complete set works together with Geovision cards (GV250, GV600, GV650, GV750, GV800, GV1120, GV1240, GV1480), alarm relay control and PTZ camera to provide function as:
- Start recording from any camera once relay contact status is changed.
- Initiate modem, network and/or pager calls once relay contact status is changed.
- Change relay contact status once there is motion detected from cameras connected to the Geovision card. (e.g. Lock up doors, windows, start off alarms.)
- Control PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) cameras (up to 16) for pan, tilt zoom function over the web browser.
- Use RS232 computer com port to control input ouput relays.

Digital i/o module combines GV-i/o and GV-relay into one wall mount unit. This device is works with computer "com port" RS232, can work independently or with GeoVision software to provide 8 input and 8 output alarm and relay control. This module can be expanded to handle 16 input and 8 output, or 8 input and 16 output.
This module works with GeoVision software to control pan tilt zoom camera using the 8 relay output.
This digital i-o can be used to work with any other types of remote sensing control, computer controlled machinery, robotics, industrial automation and feedback systems. SDK is available free. |
