Mega Pixel(MP) IP Cameras with client s/w to record @ 1920x1080 30fps IP cameras can be CCD or CMOS based, CCD based cameras are more light sensitive, can handle down to 0.001 LUX, but its resolution is not as high and is more expensive. CMOS based are less light sensitive, typically .1 LUX, but can handle very high resolution, 2560x1920 pixels. They are less costly when compared with the equivalent of CCD.
