Inside this pan tilt zoom camera, there is a small computer (32 bit processor), a web browser (you can design your web page and upload onto it), IP interface (you can use hyperterm or included software to assign IP, MAC, Gateway addresses..etc), RS232 for modem, alarm i/o interfaces, etc. Static IP is preferred, but there is software, AOIP to take care of dynamic IP. This pan tilt zoom web camera or IP camera has Web based client software for you to record video triggered by time, event, motion detection in addition to snapshot and manual through standard web browser such as MSIE and netscape navigator. The latest GeoVision 5.3 software now includes a new wireless application called G-View, which extends the GV-System's networking capability to the next level. G-View enables authorized users to view video from any networked GV-System in real-time on any Windows CE-based PDA.
